A team of ECE students worked under the direction of Professor Zhang to complete the senior design project, which was featured in the local news.

Our team took part in 8th annual SOE & SAGE Poster Competition and the ECE Grad Poster Competition and made presentations about the integrated simulation testbed for dynamic optimization in Smart Manufacturing Systems.

Two papers titled “Application of a novel approach of production system modelling, analysis and improvement for small and medium-sized manufacturers: a case study” and “Performance analysis and optimisation of Bernoulli serial production lines with dynamic real-time bottleneck identification and mitigation” are accepted for publication in International Journal of Production Research. Congratulations!

 

New paper titled “Parameter Identification for Synchronous Two-Machine Exponential Production Line Model” is accepted by the 17th IEEE Conference on Automation Science and Engineering.
